VINTAGE Hopi Harold Lomayaktewa Badger Paw Cuff Bracelet This bracelet is completely handcrafted by Harold Lomayaktewa, Hopi. This particular design features five Badger Paw prints on the cuff. This item was purchased over 20 years ago in Gallup, New Mexico . Hopi jewelry is made with two sheets of silver. The top layer is laser or hand cut into the desired design. It is then soldered onto the base which is oxidized and etched. Then it is carefully polished and finished so there are no rough edges felt or seen. Some artists use super fine steel wool to give their pieces a soft, velvety sheen.
