Like most other medicine wheels, the Navajo medicine wheel is round, which symbolizes the never ending circle of life; birth to death, sorrow and happiness, rich and poor, good and bad, balance & harmony. Inside of each circle are the four winds, the four directions, the four seasons and the times of day.
All are Navajo HANDCRAFTED using Natural Leather, artificial sinew, antique brass beads, duck feathers, horsehair, bone hairpipe & antler centers.
This Special MEDICINE WHEEL is HANDCRAFTED by Navajo Artist Nathan Boyd ( born 1967) - originally from Shiprock New Mexico, now residing in Newcomb New Mexico.
