Each chakra has a separate position and serves a different purpose. By learning as much as possible about each chakra center, I became aware of a couple of things:
- Chakras are ‘regulators’ that influence every part of our body and have even been linked to disease;
- Each chakra has a five-part influence: emotional, energetic, physical, psychological, and spiritual;
- When our chakras are out of balance, both physical and mental issues can manifest;
- Although there are 7 universally accepted ‘main’ chakras, as many as 110 energetic centers are recognized by various sects;
- Each chakra is connected to a particular color (i.e., green, yellow, purple).
