The Vail's are a multi generation Pottery Family from New Mexico.
Jessica learned from her father, Tom Vail Jr. & his father Skeeter Vail.
Approximately 3.5" tall. 6.5" wide.
Each handcrafted pot starts from a raw casting. It is then painted and in some cases, etched with a pattern and then fired. Horse Hair is then arranged along the pot before fired again. The cindered remains of the hair form the web looking designs on the pot.
